Fishing Night

Today is the night, when I go for fishing, Away from the town shooting gun,
I take my radio and start listening,
To my favourite ‘Nancy Mulligan’.

The sky is the stage, the main is the moon,
The stars seem to sparkle, the stars seem to shine,
It is good watching them from the lagoon,
With a nice glass of wine,

The moon seems beautiful, the moon seems to glow,
And the smooth cool breeze blow,
The clouds are long, the clouds are white,
It is a scenery good for sight.

The stars are small, the stars are bright,
They look beautiful in the dark night,
The moon is big, the moon looks divine,
It is good see with a fish to dine.

Now it is late,
But to leave is hate,
Abundant fish has been caught,
But the hate to leave is alot.

The Wheat Field

‘ It’s time for harvest ‘,
Says the sparrow from the nest,
And all the seeds I have sown,
Have finally grown.

It’s evening time to see the setting sun,
And the cool wind makes the wheat husk run,
A nice orange light comes from the sun,
And makes the crops look golden,

The birds sing and chirp when they see the beautiful crop,
And that lovely sound makes my tensions drop,
The crops curve where the wind blow,
And I feel they say a polite ‘Hello’,

It is good to sit in the fields with peace,
And hear and feel the cool breeze,
I would love to sit there for hours,
And do nothing but gaze at the stars.

THE BEACH

The sand there was white,

To step in it was a delight.

They had small, colorful shells,

They had holes in which small crabs dwell.

The sand had sparkly shell dust,

And looked a bit like rust.

It was time to see the setting sun,

And it hung past the horizon.

The sky bathed in the twilight,

And it gave a spectacular orange light.

The birds chirped as they found their way,

And that moment was filled with gay.

There were tall coconut trees,

Which whispered on the cool breeze.

There were small wooden shacks,

Whose tables and chairs were matte black.

There were kids playing volleyball,

Around which, the small crabs were afraid to crawl.

The sea banged the rocks and dropped their dew,

And seeing it rush was a splendid view.

In the sea, the waves were high,

But as they came to the end, they said goodbye.

The kids ended their game of volleyball,

But I was busy listening to natures call.
