Trapped

I’ve been locked away,
Deep inside the earth,
But i have to survive,
From the fire in this hearth.

I don’t know how long,
Will I stay here in this dark,
Trapped in this place where,
None can hear my bark.

I know I’ll strive,
But I don’t know how long,
Hanging on the edge of life,
I sit and write this song.

I’m all alone here,
I got no one to admire,
But I know I will survive,
From this dungeon of fire…
